     The photos on this page were taken in September when I first got my Sony Mavica (model #FD-88) digital camera. You can follow this link to the next page, which has more photos from recent events.

    I had the camera set to 640x480 resolution and set to "Fine" quality. There was no flash on any of the outdoor photos, and I used the flash only a few times on the interior shots. As a rule of thumb, if the picture is blatantly white looking, then the flash went off in that shot. The flash is super powerful on this thing, so I've been trying to make sure that my subjects are well lit so that I don't have to use the flash at all.

    I now have a Canon Powershot G5 and a small Nikon 4MP camera that I use for taking digital pictures.  I gave my Sony Mavica camera to my father a few years ago.
